BIOFACH 2018: Umfangreiches Bio-Angebot aus Entwicklungs- und Schwellenländern

Import Promotion Desk bringt Bio-Produzenten aus neun Ländern auf die BIOFACH

Bonn, 22.01.2018 – Aus Kolumbien, Ägypten, Indonesien, Kirgistan, Nepal, Peru und Tune-sien sowie Serbien und Südafrika bringt das Import Promotion Desk (IPD) Bio-Produzenten auf die diesjährige BIOFACH. Über 30 Unternehmen aus neun Ländern stellen ihr vielfältiges Bio-Produktangebot auf dem Gemeinschaftsstand von IPD und der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) und den Länderpavillons vor. Es umfasst Kräuter, Gewürze und Tee, ätherische und kaltgepresste Öle, Rohr- und Kokosblütenzucker sowie Obst- und Gemüsespezialitäten aus den Regionen. Die weltgrößte Messe für Bio-Lebensmittel findet vom 14. bis 17. Februar in Nürnberg statt.

Bundesminister Müller am IPD Stand auf der Internationalen Grünen Woche

Der Bundesminister für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung, Dr. Gerd Müller, besuchte die Internationale Grüne Woche und ließ sich am Stand des IPD über Leistungen und Erfolge des Projektes informieren.

Das IPD ist auf der IGW mit einem Stand in der BMZ-Halle präsent und stellt sein umfangreiches Angebot vor, das die BMZ-Initiative „Eine Welt ohne Hunger ist möglich“ stützt. Zudem können Besucher bei einem Länder-Quiz am IPD Stand ihr Wissen über die Partnerländer testen und gleichzeitig neue, interessante Länderkenntnisse erwerben. Zusätzlich lädt das IPD dazu ein, exotische Produkte aus den Ländern zu kosten und kennenzulernen.

Fruit Logistica 2018: Äthiopien zum ersten Mal mit Länderstand präsent

Bonn, 18.01.2018 – Auf der Fruit Logistica, der internationalen Fachmesse für Obst und Gemüse, die vom 7. bis 9. Februar 2018 in Berlin stattfindet, ist Äthiopien erstmalig mit einem eigenen Länderstand vertreten (Halle 26, Stand B-04). Sieben Aussteller aus ganz Äthiopien zeigen auf dem Stand der Ethiopian Horticulture Producers Exporters Association (EHPEA) das breit gefächerte Produktangebot aus dem afrikanischen Binnenland.

Das IPD stellt auch in diesem Jahr auf der SIAL, der weltweit führenden Messe in der Nahrungsmittelindustrie, neue, sorgfältig ausgewählte und geprüfte Export-Unternehmen aus den Partnerländern vor, u.a. Ägypten, Äthiopien, Kirgistan, Kolumbien, Peru und Tunesien.
Die Produktpalette aus den IPD-Partnerländern ist breit. Das Angebot reicht von gefriergetrockneten Früchten, Frucht-Pulpen sowie Bio-Tee aus Kolumbien, getrockneten Früchten und Beeren aus Kirgistan über Maca-, Lucuma- und Camu Camu-Pulver aus Peru.
Aus Äthiopien kommen u.a. hochwertige Öle aus Schwarzkümmel, Sesam und Eukalyptus nach Paris. Ägyptische Unternehmen präsentieren zudem Dattelprodukte, Kräuter und Gewürze.

Selling Mission "Dried fruit and nuts" to Germany

Contact-brokering for exporters of dried fruit and nuts

The Import Promotion Desk organizes a selling mission to Germany for exporters of dried fruit and nuts.  
Exporters participating in the IPD programme will be given the opportunity to meet potential buyers in Germany and increase their trading relations. They will get to know their target market, make valuable contacts on site and initiate concrete business deals.

For exporters of the IPD programme, the IPD arranges company visits to suitable buyers in Germany in the run-up to the mission. The German importers will be selected according to the exporters` offer.
During the trip, the IPD accompanies the exporters to the German enterprises and supports them in establishing contacts. In addition, the IPD provides information on market requirements and gives product-specific information.

The exporters participating in the IPD programme will be well prepared for this selling mission. Thus ensuring they are equipped with the required certificates for the European market and are familiar with the demands of the German trade sector.

SIAL 2018

Establishing contacts to the right buyers

With 7,020 companies from more than 109 countries, the SIAL is one of the largest international marketplace for foodservice professionals. The focus of SIAL Paris/France is innovation in nutrition, design, retail, food service and ingredients.

At the 2018 event, the IPD will again present new, carefully selected and tested export companies from different partner countries like Egypt, Ethiopia, Colombia, Peru, Kyrgystan and Tunisia.
These exporters will have the opportunity to display their products, ranging from freeze-dried fruit, pulps and tea from Colombia, dried fruits and berries from Kyrgyzsan, to dates, herbs and spices from Egypt. Ethiopian companies will offer an exceptional range of oils made of black cumin, sesame or eucalyptus.

All exporters participating in the IPD programme will be well prepared for this event. Thus ensuring they are equipped with the required certificates for the European market and are familiar with the demands of the German trade sector.
Immediately before and during the fair the IPD will offer practical support for the exhibition, including e.g. compilation of current market information, guidance on stand decoration, sales training for successful communication with potential customers.
 
In particular, the IPD provides support through targeted matchmaking, identifying suitable German importers and arranging initial contacts before the fair begins, accompanying the b2b meetings during the event and supporting the follow-up after the fair is over.
